Cara Negri, BSME, CP

Cara Negri is the Director of PnO Data Solutions. Cara is a graduate of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine's Prosthetics Program in Chicago. Cara's education started with a Mechanical Engineering Degree with a concentration in bioengineering.

Cara sparked an interest in Orthotics and Prosthetics (O&P) at the age of nine, after reading a book about a young girl with an amputation. She started working for a Prosthetic facility in high school and continued worked as a prosthetic technician while attending a co-op program to achieve her Mechanical Engineering Degree with a Bioengineering concentration. Cara went on to work for Ossur in the education and technical services department, and then R&D, conducting alpha and beta testing for new products.

Her adventures then brought her to Direct Clinical Operations in Australia and New Zealand, where Cara started using PnO Clinical Movement Data. Having a full P&O video gait analysis system constructed by PnO Clinical Movement Data at the laboratory in Sydney, Cara used the system to observe pre- and post-fitting comparisons and to teach other prosthetists. When she moved back to the US in 2012, Cara wanted to share her experiences of using PnO Clinical Movement Data and the potential value it could provide to the O&P industry.
